One person was seriously injured in a dangerous accident in Fuvahmulah last night.

The accident occurred when the motorcycle he was driving lost control and hit the post pole of the Zebra Cross.

A 32-year-old man was injured in the accident, police said.

Police said he was first treated at the Fuvahmulah Hospital and later transferred to the capital city for further treatment. Doctors said the man was in critical condition.

Police are investigating the accident.
