Police have launched a search operation to find a 13-year-old young girl reported missing from the Maldivian capital.

Police said in a Facebook post today that they are looking for a girl who is missing. Aishath Zeeva Saeed, 13, Kanburuge, R. Inguraidhoo, was reported missing by her family at around 07:45 pm on Monday.

Police revealed that she was last seen earlier on Monday, at around 06:00 pm, from her apartment at the H12 in Hulhumale’ Phase II. She was wearing a beige top and beige pocket jean.

Police asked for anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to call the police hotline at 3322111 or the Hulhumale’ Phase II Police Station at 3035336.
