N. Hulhudheli, Ufanveli, Mohamed Thoha's name has been submitted to the Parliament for approval as the Maldivian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

The Speaker of Parliament has since referred the matter to the Parliament's Foreign Relations Committee for further consideration of Thoha for the position.

The Parliament will decide whether to approve Thoha’s appointment to the post after the committee examines the matter and submits the relevant committee report to the Parliament.
