President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has criticised MDP's vision for the nation.

Speaking at the ceremony held in Hulhumale' to inaugurate Dhaandhoo constituency candidate Mohamed Fazeel's campaign office, President Dr. Muizzu criticised MDP's campaign slogan for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

During his speech, the President said that the public will make decisions for the nation, and not based on foreign influence. He added that the public had made that decision during the presidential elections.

"The public should not let things go back to the way they were before. MDP's vision for the nation is not right. We should decision against letting things go wrong again. We should not let the nation's decisions be made by foreign influence," he said.

He added that the public is content that the administration is not printing new currency and that the nation is on the right path.

"We can empower the public this way, it will bring development to the nation and also confidence of foreign investors. The opposition has not been able to digest that things are on the right path," President Dr. Muizzu said.
