Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has been ordered by Civil Court to pay USD 102,186 to Beehive Hotels Pvt Ltd.

The case pertains to services provided to FAM by Beehive with unpaid dues of USD 102,186. Beehive submitted a case to Civil Court seeking unpaid dues as well as a compensation of 20 percent daily from the payment deadline.

Beehive agreed to pardon 20 percent of the fines since FAM agreed to pay the due amount as a lump sum.

As such, Civil Court on Thursday ordered FAM to pay the dues within a year, making monthly payments before 10th of every month.

Prior to this, Civil Court had also ordered FAM to pay USD 32,426 to Beehive as well.
