Missing Maldivian Umrah pilgrim, who was reported missing amid his Umrah pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia has been found sometime on Wednesday evening.

Mohamed Thakkan from Seenu atoll Meedhoo, traveled to Saudi Arabia as part of a tour group from Nimsa al Hajj-wal Umrah Group, to perform Umrah in the last 15 days of Ramadan.

Nimsa al Hajj-wal Umrah Group had earlier said he went missing at around 03:00 am last night after going to the Holy Mosque to perform Umrah with the group.

The group said in a Facebook post tonight that he was found safe and sound.
