Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has begun the process of removing asphalt from roads that run through the land allotted under 'Binveriyaa Scheme'.
HDC on Wednesday said the company is working on resolving the issues to ensure land plots are released soon.
HDC said that the process of removing the asphalt from the land allotted under the 'Binveriyaa Scheme' has begun on Wednesday. As such, the roads will be cleared and water supply network will be replaced in some of the plots, HDC said.
HDC said the corporation has been taking up the process of segregation and handing over the plots with special priority.
The government has started the process of handing over registrations to those who have not collected their registrations under the scheme run by the previous government. The Housing Ministry has also given more time till today for those who have not collected the land registration.
On March 14, the Housing Ministry had said that it had handed over 8,394 registered plots to the allottees.
