A Maldivian man who went on Umrah pilgrimage through Zam Zam Hajj and Umrah Travel has passed away.

An official of Zam Zam Hajj and Travel Group told One today that the deceased was on his way to Umrah during Ramadan. The deceased is Ibrahim Rashid, 58, of Haa Alif Dhidhoo.

He went on Umrah on the 20th of this month.

The official said he was undergoing treatment for lung cancer and died early yesterday while being admitted to the Noor Hospital in Mecca.
