President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the design work of the 100-bed tertiary hospital in Villimale' has begun.
Responding to a question from a person on the "Raees ge Javaabu" program, the President said that improving the quality of health services provided in Villimale' is a top priority of the government.
"I announced the construction of a 100-bed tertiary hospital in Vilimale'. Work on that is currently ongoing. It was decided to continue the project with a Grant from China. Currently, technical and design work is being carried out in collaboration with the Chinese authorities, our Construction Ministry and the Ministry of Health. Land has also been earmarked for the purpose," he said.
The President said that once the design and technical work is completed, the construction of the hospital will begin. He assured the people of Villimale' that the hospital would soon be able to get a satisfactory tertiary facility.
