The Islamic Ministry has announced that mass Eid congregations for Eid al-Fitr will be held in six areas in the Greater Male' Region.

The Islamic Ministry said in an announcement that Eid prayers will be held at six places in the area. These are:

- Maafannu Stadium

- Islamic Center

- King Salman Mosque

- Villimale Football Grounds

- Hulhumale Synthetic Track

- Hulhumale Phase II Cricket Stadium

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has also announced the recruitment of people to provide refreshments for those preparing the areas for prayer, and a party to manage the sound for the prayer.

The Islamic Ministry is in talks to move the Eid prayer time to 7:00 am this year.

According to the calendar, this year's Eid is on the 10th of next month.
