President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has forwarded the names of two people to the Parliament for appointment as permanent representative to the United Nations Offices in Geneva and Ambassador to Singapore.

Dr. Salma Rasheed has been sent for approval by the Parliament for appointment as the Permanent Representative of the Maldives to the United Nations Offices in Geneva.

Mohamed Luweiz, M. Dhilaasaage has been forwarded for the post of Ambassador to Singapore.

Speaker of the Parliament Mohamed Aslam announced that President Dr. Muizzu's letter to the parliament seeking their approval was forwarded to the Parliament's Foreign Committee for review.
