Bank of Maldives (BML) has completed work on a fully functional industrial kitchen setup at the Home for People with Special Needs.

BML announced the project as part of the Bank’s 40th anniversary. The project included building a fully functional industrial kitchen setup with equipment, food storage and an outdoor area for food preparation.

In addition, BML also revamped staff areas with lockers, toilets and tea rooms dedicated for male and female staff separately. A small library corner was also established for patients and staff.

As part of the project, the bank also donated essential equipment required by the Home such as beds, mattresses, sofas and chairs to equip the wards.
