An accident in GDh. Thinadhoo has left two people injured.

Police said that they received the accident report around 1540hrs on Sunday.

The accident occurred when a pickup traveling south from Ghazee magu collided with a motorbike traveling on Aithaarafani magu, police said. Both parties sustained injuries in the collision.

Police did not give details of the injuries sustained by the two, however police said both people are receiving medical attention at Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital.

Police said the incident is under investigation.
