Elections Commission (EC) has opened re-registrations for a period of six days for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled to be held on 21 April.
The process of re-registration for voting in the parliamentary elections is open from Sunday until 1500hrs next Saturday and we request you to re-register ahead of time, EC Vice President Ismail Habib said in a post on X.
Voters will have to submit their applications for re-registration to vote in the assembly elections through the EC's online portal.
The parliamentary elections were earlier scheduled to be held on March 17, but since it coincides with the Holy Month of Ramadan, the law has been amended to postpone the parliamentary elections to 21 next month, with an additional 560 eligible voters eligible to vote.
