The first permanent mosque built by the government in the second phase of Hulhumalé will be opened next Friday, Islamic Minister Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has revealed.
In a post on X, the Minister noted that the first permanent mosque to be built in the second phase of Hulhumalé will be opened next Friday and that the mosque will be able to accommodate 1,500 people at a time.
The minister said that with the opening of the mosque, people living in the second phase will benefit greatly from it. The mosque was built by Munihome Care.
There are currently three temporary mosques in the second phase of Hulhumalé. However, there is a permanent mosque built by a private individual in the area.
