President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has pledged to complete all the development works in Kendhoo.
Speaking to the people of Kendhoo this evening as part of the President's visit to B. Atoll, the President said that there is a lot of work to be done in Kendhoo as well.
"We will do all there is to be done for the development of the island. Kendhoo's biggest issue is the harbour, whihc we will develop better. The island also needs land reclamation," he said.
He said apart from the harbour and land expansion work in Kendhoo, there are a lot of works to be done, including construction of roads, construction of a two-storey mosque, setting up of an ATM, setting up of a social centre, installation of lights on a football field and construction of rostrums.
"As such, we are planning to strengthen the companies and the economy to complete development projects in the islands on a schedule, on a year-to-year basis. A majority of the work in most islands are currently stalled," President Dr. Muizzu said.
He further said that the stalled projects can only be resumed after the previous administration's debts to companies have been cleared.
