Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that F. Nilandhoo Harbor Development Project is well underway with the v quay wall construction having been delivered to the site.

They also added that the harbor basin dredging operations are currently ongoing.

The scope of works include, 55,141cbm new harbor basin dredging operations, 6,933cbm channel dredging operations, 2367m quay wall, 261m breakwater, 75m revetment, construction of a ramp (11m x 11m), construction of a jetty (100 m x 2m), construction of a concrete bridge (18m x 2m), 1,151sqm pavement installation, harbor lights and mooring buoys installation.

The value of the project is MVR 61.75 million.
