Finance Ministry's Chief Financial Budget Executive Sarvash Adam, who was at the forefront of drafting the state budget, has resigned from his post.
Sarvash had announced his decision to step down from his post and submitted a letter last month, saying his last day in the Finance Ministry would be 29 February.
Sarvash told One that out of the nine years he spent in the Finance Ministry, he spent eight years preparing the state budget and decided to step down as the right time for a change.
He said that he will work in the private sector next.
Sarvash started working in the Finance Ministry since July 2015 and has also served as chairman of MIRA and on the board of MMA.
