Former Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated that his ideologies have not changed, adding that he has remained with the same ideologies as MDP.

Faisal, who has been in the JP since its inception, left the party last month. He has since rejoined MDP today.

Speaking at a ceremony held at the MDP office today, Faisal said that MDP is the party that taught him to understand the feelings of the people.

"The party's name changed in 2008. I did it as a step to achieve some goals. However, the ideology has not changed. The policy has not changed. The same work has been done. We have been working on the same path,” Faisal said.

Faisal said the country's current direction requires him to do important work for the sake of the country. He said he would always work for the people.

Faisal added that he would do his best to give the MDP a large majority in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
