President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that those who got land from Giraavarufalhu under the Binveriya scheme of the previous government stand a chance to get land from Gulhifalhu.

In a series of programmes aired by the government, a person asked the president if there was a way to relocate those who got land from Giraavarufalhu if they wanted to, to Ghulifalu or Hulhumale'.

Responding to the question, President Muizzu said that some others who got land from Giraavarufalhu had also posed the same question and no decision had been taken yet.

"That's a possibility. However, there is no policy decision at present. We will check on the possibility to change land allotments from Giraavarufalhu to Gulhifalhu. The land use plan for both the locations is being finalised," he said.

He said that there is a possibility of changing land allotments from Giraavarufalhu to Gulhifalhu and that the Administration will attend to it seriously.
