President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed for Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll as part of his ongoing tour of the Southern atolls.

He departed for Gaafu Alifu after concluding his visit to Fuvahmulah City this morning.

During his visit to Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, the President will visit Faresmaathodaa, Fiyoari, Madaveli, Thinadhoo, and Gaddhoo today. He will also hold discussions with the council and WDCs of each island.

Following his visit to Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, the President will travel to Gaafu Alif Atoll tomorrow. They will visit Gemanafushi, Kondey, Villingili, Kolamaafushi, and Dhaandhoo Island.

President Muizzu's first stop on his tour of the Southern atolls was Addu City. He met with the city council and WDC and also engaged with the island's residents.

After concluding his visit to Addu City, the President traveled to Fuvahmulah City.
