Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that work on F. Magoodhoo Land Reclamation and Shore Protection Project is well underway, with overall 50% project progress.

The company noted that they have completed island reclamation operations while geo bag filling work is currently ongoing.

The scope of works include, 17 hectares island reclamation operations, 30.8 hectares airport reclamation operations, 1,948m rock boulder revetment, 1,665m geo bag revetment, 90m groyne.

The value of the project is MVR 232.26 million.
