Housing Minister Dr. Ali Haider has stated that the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has sent a list of eligible beneficiaries to the Ministry after its investigation into the awarding of flats under the Binveriyaa scheme.

Replying to questions raised by members of the National Development and Heritage Committee of the Parliament on flat-related issues, the minister said that the list by ACC only contains form numbers, hence it was not possible to state who the beneficiaries were exactly.

Therefore, the list of people who are eligible for flats will be known only after access to the portal set up by the ministry, he said.

He further noted that only the ACC can access the portal as the investigation into the flat case is not completed. He also added that access will be given after ACC made a backup of it.
