As part of its capacity building efforts, STELCO has conducted a training for 120 employees.

STELCO's Managing Director Hussain Fahmy said in a Facebook post on Saturday that people become capable when trained and developed. One of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's policies is to create a work force that caters to the public with diligence.

Fahmy said that after taking over as Managing Director of STELCO, one of the top priorities under the advice and guidance of President Dr. Muizzu was to improve the quality of service provided to the people and enhance the skills and capabilities of the employees.

"There is no doubt that the leadership enhancement training program aimed at all STELCO employees at the Girifushi Train Center in collaboration with the Maldives National Defence Force and STELCO will improve the quality of service provided to the people, strengthen the ranks of STELCO, strengthen the working ethic of the employees and restore the spirit of service at the level and level desired by President Dr. Muizzu," he said.

Fahmy said that it was a pleasure to have 120 staff complete the training and thanked the MNDF for their support and support in implementing the programme.
