Maldives Polytechnic has been assigned to provide technical training to FENAKA Corporation's technical staff.

At the ceremony held at FENAKA building on Thursday, the agreement was signed on behalf of FENAKA by Deputy Managing Director Hussain Zuhuree while Deputy Minister Zooshan Kamaaluddin signed on behalf of Ministry of Higher Education.

Speaking at the ceremony, Zuhuree said that FENAKA has 6,900 employees of which 2,799 are technical staff. He added that 20 percent of the staff have C3 level qualifications but do not have the certification to prove it.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Higher Education Zooshan Kamaaluddin said that under this agreement, several specific programmes will be conducted and the staff will receive C3 certification.

Highlighting that the remaining 80 percent staff require C3 level training, she added that they would receive C3 certificates once they complete the trainings.
