President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has affirmed that the construction of Gaadhiffushi School and all associated tasks will receive top priority.

He made this pledge while speaking with the residents of Gaadhiffushi Island in Th. Atoll during his ongoing trip to the atoll.

President Dr. Muizzu stated that the land reclamation project on the island will commence this year along with the construction of the Th. Guraidhoo Airport. He highlighted the lack of feasibility in the construction of the island port initiated by the previous Administration and asserted the Government's commitment to advancing the project.

He also reiterated the Administration's dedication to conducting development efforts in the islands.

President Dr. Muizzu outlined the Government's policy to incorporate uninhabited islands within the jurisdiction of island councils, following established guidelines. He further noted that Gadhiffushi had the opportunity to seek jurisdiction under these guidelines, boosting the island's revenue and income.
