The administration has fulfilled 78 percent of the pledges in the Hafthaa 14 roadmap, and will complete 100 percent of the pledges within the timeline, President Dr. Muizzu has stated.
Delivering the presidential address, the President stated that he has drafted a roadmap for the first 14 weeks of this administration, detailing the actions that will need to be taken to fulfill his pledges, to tackle the numerous challenges faced by the Maldivians, and fulfill the wishes of the Maldivian people.
"This roadmap outlines the pledges to be fulfilled on the first day, within four weeks, nine weeks, and by the 14-week mark. The "Week 14" roadmap encompasses a total of 161 pledges," he stated.
Presently, during the 11 weeks that have transpired, 50 pledges have been completely fulfilled. Among these are 7 pledges accomplished on day one, an additional 17 by the fourth week, and a further 26 by the end of the ninth week.
Furthermore, 111 additional pledges were made, with 78% of them already fulfilled.
"We aspire to achieve 100% fulfillment of these commitments before the 14-week deadline expires, God willing. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the members of the Cabinet, government employees across various political and civil service positions, public institutions, and all Maldivians for their unwavering dedication in fulfilling these pledges," he further added.
In addition to this, the President revealed that the government is collaborating with a team of technical experts to devise a five-year strategic action plan aimed at honoring all remaining pledges.
