Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said N. Kudafari Shore Protection Project is well underway with overall 52% project progress.

MTCC said the Company has delivered the second and final geobag shipment to the project site. Geobag filling works are currently ongoing.

Scope of work for the project includes, 610m geobag revetment and a 220m groyne.

MTCC was contracted with the project in February 2022 to be completed within 300 days.

The project is valued at MVR 17.57 million.
