Incumbent MP for Addu City Feydhoo, Rozaina Adam faced a defeat at the MDP Parliamentary Primary today, while her husband Mohamed Nashiz secured the ticket for Kinbidhoo constituency for another term.

Rozaina faced former football player Ahmed Shareef (Dungaa) at the MDP ParliamentaryPrimary for the 20th Session of the People's Majilis.

Dungaa received more votes than Rozaina in all the ballot boxes placed in Addu City and Male' City.

Rozaina faced defeat in the primary while her husband won the MDP ticket by a huge margin.
