Bodukanneli Masveringe Union today released a video of armed Indian troops boarding three Maldivian fishing boats last Wednesday.

Although MNDF did not confirm the nationality of the troops that boarded Asuruma-3, Niru-7, and Maahoara-3, a video posted on the X account of the union today showed Indian Coast Guard personnel boarding the boats.

It is not known which boat is seen in the video. However, the video was taken by a Maldivian on the boat. Everyone but him was taken to the back of the boat.

According to the video, two soldiers were on board the boat. One of them was wearing a helmet and armed. The badge on his uniform shows that he is a radar plotter of the Indian Coast Guard. The badge on the uniform of the man next to him identified him as an Indian Coast Guard gunner.

The 14-second video shows the three fishing boats nearby. Two Indian Coast Guard ships were also seen operating near the boats.
