Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said the final shipment of rock boulders required for the Sh. Lhaimagu Harbor Development Project have been delivered to the project site.

According to MTCC, revetment profiling work has reached 78% completion.

Scope of work for the project include, new harbour basin dredging operations of 24,343cbm, existing harbour dredging operations of 14,412cbm, channel dredging operations of 6,000cbm, construction of a 350m breakwater, a 414m quay wall, a 500m revetment, a concrete ramp, installation of 2,291sqm pavement, installation of navigation lights and streetlights.

The project is valued at MVR 60.7 million.
