Nationalism as a separate subject has been introduced to fourth grade students in 11 schools across the country today.
Teaching Nationalism as a separate subject has been a presidential promise of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
The social council meeting held on January 10 decided to introduce the subject of Nationalism in schools and in the next two to three weeks, it will be included as a separate subject in the country's national education curriculum and will be introduced in the new academic year.
As part of the pilot project, Nationalism is being taught in four schools in the city and seven schools in the atolls.

- Kalaafaanu School
- Muhyiddin School

- L. Atoll Education Center
