Voting for the Progressive Congress Coalition's parliamentary primary has begun this morning.

Voting for the primary started at 10:00 am today with 283 candidates contesting for 73 constituencies. Voting will continue until 5:00 pm today, the coalition said.

227 ballot boxes have been placed in the primary. The polling stations in the city are:

- Kalaafaanu School

- Jamaluddin School

- Thaajuddin School

- Vilimale Youth Centre

- Kaamil Didi School (Hulhumale)

- Rehendi School (Hulhumale)

In addition, ballot boxes were placed at Henveiru Stadium for the people of the atolls to vote.

71,597 people are eligible to vote in today's primary, the coalition said.
