A 35-year-old woman died of influenza, an IGMH spokesperson revealed to One Online today.

She died while being treated in the ICU, according to the hospital.

On the 14th of this month, one person died of influenza.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has also said that the spread of influenza is increasing. The number of positive cases in the first two weeks of this year has increased compared to the end of last year.

The HPA said influenza and asthma cases have also increased in regional countries. Therefore, caution was advised while travelling.
