The Election Commission (EC) has opened a number of temporary job vacancies in preparation for the March 17 parliamentary elections.

The Election Commission (EC) is seeking 90 trainers to work as trainers in the atolls and cities to train the officials working at the polling stations for the parliamentary elections.

The trainers will be paid MVR 800 per day and MVR 1,000 per day for activities in the atolls. An allowance of MVR 1,400 will also be given after completion of the Training of Trainees (TOT) program and official training.

Those who want to become trainers should submit their applications by the end of this month.

The EC announcement also announced the recruitment of 30 officers, 10 senior officers, six security officers and four workers.

The deadline for applications is 29th of next month.
