Vice Minister International Department, Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China, Sun Haiyan has arrived in Maldives on an official visit.

She is visiting Maldives at the official invitation of Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer.

She was received at the Velana International Airport (VIA) by the State Minister of Foreign Ministry, Shereena Abdul Samad.

During this trip, Sun is scheduled to meet with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer and Speaker of Parliament, Mohamed Aslam.

Additionally, she is scheduled to attend a ceremony to distribute free aid in ADh. Mahibadhoo on Monday.

Sun Haiyan will remain in Maldives till Tuesday.
