A man injured in an accident in Fuvahmulah City yesterday has been evacuated under a medical emergency to Male' City.

The accident occurred at 10:00 pm when a motorcycle driving at high speed lost control and hit a wall.

A 30-year-old man was injured in the accident and was admitted to the Fuvahmulah Hospital and was later transferred to Male City further treatment, police said.

An IGMH spokesperson told One today that the man was in the emergency ward and was being treated on a ventilator.

Police said they are investigating the accident.
