Three people have been injured in a gas cylinder explosion.

MNDF revealed that Fire and Rescue Services are on the scene of a gas explosion at the NGB Restaurant.

The Sri Lankan chef of the restaurant was seriously injured in the incident. Two others were also reported to have sustained various injuries.

Details of the injuries sustained by the injured are yet to be released.
