The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has said that the Commission will soon take a decision on the issues raised in the allotment of flats under the 'Gedhoruveriya Scheme' launched by former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's administration.
Speaking to One Online today, an ACC official said that the final work is underway and those who need to be summoned for clarification have been summoned to the commission and the information has been cleared.
The official, however, said they cannot give an exact date for completion of the work, but added that the final work is underway and they will be completed soon.
ACC had stopped the project during the process of allotment of 4,000 flats announced under the 'Gedhoruveriya' scheme, following allegations of misuse in awarding points to the applicants.
Since then, the probe has been stalled for a long time after the Home Ministry denied permission to access the relevant portal.
However, after the Ministry granted access, the Commission started its probe in early December.
