The State Trading Organization (STO) has launched its Ramadan Bazaar promotion with prizes worth MVR 300,000.

The Ramadan Bazaar was launched at a ceremony held at People's Choice in STO last night. The promotion will run from January 16 until April 11, according to STO. Customers who make a purchase of MVR 1,000 at ST Regional Stores and People's Choice will receive a coupon for every purchase.

Under the promotion, customers will get up to 25 percent discount. Unlike other times, this year’s Ramadan Bazaar will be different as it will be divided into three categories. A promotion will be conducted before the start of Ramadan and three winners will receive prizes after a lucky draw.

- The first lucky winner will receive a kitchen set worth Rs 75,000

- Second lucky winner will receive a home appliance package

- Three lucky winners will be provided with Nipo paint and paint in the apartment

In addition, a lucky winner will be selected every week during Ramadan and while receive a gift voucher of MVR 2,500 while three lucky winners will be selected at the end of the promotion.

- The first lucky winner will receive two return tickets to Turkey

- The second lucky winner will receive a home appliance package

- The third lucky winner will receive a 65-inch Philips TV

Unlike other years, this year's promotion will include product demonstrations every Thursday of the week. Customers will have the opportunity to experience the product for themselves during the launch and will receive a special discount.

There will also be discounts on selected items every Friday and Saturday. The promotional product will also be available through the e-store and items such as refrigerators and washing machines will be delivered upon purchase.

STO Sales Associate Aishath Nazahat said the STO Ramadan Bazaar is one of the most popular sales among shoppers. As in other years, many discounts will be available at STO People's Choice and STO Regional stores.
