The Election Commission has announced that candidacy for the 2024 Parliamentary Elections will be opened on January 2024.

The window for submitting forms for the parliamentary elections is from the 30th of this month to 14th of next month.

The EC has decided to hold the parliamentary elections in March, coinciding with the first week of Ramadan.

The current 19th Parliament has 87 members, but the 20th Parliament will have 93 members.

The Election Commission has made the provisional list of eligible voters public and open for complaints. According to the list, 284,327 people are eligible to vote. There are 139,165 women and 145,162 men.
