President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has attended the Invest Maldives 2024 in China, organized by Ministry of Economic Development, Maldives.

The President attended the forum on the sidelines of his ongoing official visit to China.

The forum aims to foster both government-to-government and business-to-business collaboration between the Maldives and China, paving the way for Chinese investors to contribute to the growth and development of the Maldives.

Earlier during the trip, President Dr. Muizzu met with senior officials of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC). During the meeting, he noted the significance of China as a valued ally and an integral collaborator in the developmental journey of the Maldives.

The President and First Lady are accompanied by a high-level delegation from the Government during this trip.
