MDP's candidate for mayor, Adam Azim has visited more than a 100 houses in Villimale' to take stock of the situation regarding the citizens.

Azim was accompanied by the MDP Chairperson Fayyaz Ismail, former Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid and other senior party leaders.

As part of the door-to-door event, Azim also met with MDP leaders in Villimale'. Furthermore, Azim specified that villimale' is a neglected island and there are not enough facilities for the residents of Villimale' and those visiting the island.

He claimed his aim is to make Villimale' an attractive and comfortable island for the citizens.

Azim vocalized that he believes the municipal services in the Male' area have improved as resources can be developed and services are provided in the island as well without excluding Villimale'.
