An orange alert has been issued for Addu City and Fuvahmulah City by Maldives Meteorology over possible flooding and heavy thunderstorms.

The Met Office is forecasting thundershowers with heavy rain and flooding from 1:20 pm to 3:20 pm today. The weather bureau has issued an orange warning for the two cities.
