President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with former President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan today at the President’s Office.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed social and political issues in the country. They also spoke on other initiatives and programs aimed at the betterment of the people and the nation.

While President Muizzu has met with President Dr Waheed, he also met with former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom yesterday. In addition to this, he also met with political party leaders last week.

Last week, he met with JP leader Qasim Ibrahim, Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) President Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, Maldives National Party (MNP) President Mohamed Nazim and The Democrats President Hassan Latheef.

However, he did not disclose details of the discussions held during the meetings.
