The Ooredoo Fun Run 2023, the largest and most exciting race in the Maldives, was successfully concluded yesterday.

Ooredoo revealed that more than 6,000 runners participated in this year's race.

The Ooredoo Fun Run was held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm yesterday at Central Park in Hulhumale'. The race started from the Central Park and included Phase 1 and Phase 2 routes. Children and adults of different ages participated in the race.

Vice President Hussain Mohammed Lateef, Ooredoo Maldives Managing Director and CEO Khalid al Hamadi, Ooredoo Maldives Board Director Dheena Hussain, and Ooredoo Maldives Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz also participated in the Ooredoo Fun Run.

Ooredoo said one of the main objectives of the run is to promote a healthy lifestyle and celebrate the unity and happiness of society.

The event had fun stations to welcome runners at every kilometer. There was also painting and crossing obstacles every kilometer. There was also a foam party to make the run even more exciting.

At the end of the race, participants also enjoyed the Adventure Up Bull Bash and Gladiator Duel.

Social media platforms have showcased participants’ joy of running and fine gold medals and shared many joyful photos full of foam and color.

Commenting on the success of this year's Ooredoo Fun Run, Ooredoo Maldives MD and Chief Executive Officer Khalid said, “The Ooredoo Fun Run is not just a run a great pleasure."

Ooredoo is preparing for next year's Fan Run. In addition to Hulhumale, the Regional Ooredoo Fun Run 2024 will be held in Laamu Atoll.
