Opposition MDP has filed an emergency motion in the Parliament against the dismissal of a large number of employees of FENAKA, against President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's promise.

The emergency motion was moved by Central Fuvahmulah MP Hussain Mohammed Didi. The Parliament passed the emergency bill by a vote of 33 to 37 in the parliament.
