Four people arrested in connection with a fight between two groups in Addu City have been remanded until the end of their trial.
Four men, aged 18, 19, 20 and 23, were arrested in connection with the case.
They were taken to the Hithadhoo Magistrate's Court for remand and were remanded in custody till the end of the trial.
A 30-year-old man was stabbed in the fight between two groups in Hithadhoo. He was transferred to Male' City for further treatment.
After the fight, a 20-year-old man was stabbed and injured in Hithadhoo yesterday evening. He was attacked by a group in the living room of the house.
Maldives Police Service has also sent in a team of officers for peacekeeping in Addu City since the fights began.
