Maldives Police Service has revealed that they have arrested four individuals regarding the gang violence in Addu City Hithadhoo last Friday night.

Police said in a statement that they were arrested under a court order early last night. They are 18-year-old, 19-year-old, 20-year-old and 23-year-old Maldivian men.

A 30-year-old man was stabbed in the fight. He was later transferred to Male City for further treatment.

Police have also decided to send more officers to Addu in connection with the fight.
