President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has said that arrangements will be made through the Maldivian Embassies to teach Islam, Dhivehi language and patriotism to Maldivian students and Maldivians living abroad.
As part of his visit to Dubai to attend the COP28 meeting, the President met with Maldivian students and Maldivian families living in the country at Dubai's Dusit Thani Hotel.
According to the President's Office, more than 200 locals attended the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the President said that Maldivian embassies abroad should give top priority to the welfare of Maldivians visiting and residing in those countries.
He also said that during his visit abroad, he would meet with the locals as soon as possible.
